The Datasensing AM1/0B-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) output functions with PNP and NPN output types. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.51), aluminium (0.56), brass (0.62), and stainless steel (0.78).
Engineered for stability, they maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They consume a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and support a load current of up to 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA.
The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are robust and durable. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for easy connections and are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting.
With a mechanical protection rating of IP67, they are suitable for harsh environments, operating within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors comply with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
