The Datasensing AM1/AN-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and provide reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz.
Built with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the AM1/AN-2H sensors ensure durability and longevity. They are designed to withstand harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensors come with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, making them suitable for demanding industrial settings.
The AM1/AN-2H models are available with cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, and can be configured with 2 or 3 wires. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for hazardous environments. The sensors are easy to install with an unshielded mounting design and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure attachment. With CE and UR approvals and EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2, these sensors meet high safety and performance standards.
