Datasensing AM1/AP-2A8W Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/AP-2A8W Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO/PNP configuration, this sensor comes with an 8-meter axial cable for flexible installation. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, making it ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensor's performance is optimized with a correction factor for various materials: copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). Engineered for stability, it boasts a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent operation. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, it supports a load current of up to 200mA while maintaining a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and features robust protections against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensor is durable and reliable, withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. It is IP67 rated for mechanical protection and complies with EMC standards IEC 60947-5-2. The sensor is supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting and is approved by CE and UR standards. With a compact dimension of M12 x 1 and a length of 49.8mm, it is designed to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
