The Datasensing AM1/AP-2CVE80 Sensor is an advanced inductive sensor designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NO/PNP configuration, this sensor is equipped with a 200mm PVC cable and a 90° M12 plug for easy installation. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 3.2mm. The sensor is optimized for various materials with correction factors for copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). Engineered for durability, the sensor boasts a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. It features a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a high switching frequency of 2kHz. The sensor operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It ensures minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and maintains a max ripple content of ? 10%. For enhanced safety and performance, the sensor includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, providing robust mechanical protection rated at IP67. The sensor is also equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility. With a compact design of M12 x 1 dimensions and a length of 49.8mm, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. The sensor is compliant with CE and UR approvals and meets EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. It is resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the sensor comes with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting.
