The Datasensing AM1/AP-2H4W Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design with a NO/PNP output, these sensors are housed in durable AISI303 stainless steel, ensuring robust performance in various environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15).
Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 2kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and they can handle a max ripple content of ? 10%.
Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, the sensors are ready for use with a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They include essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The unshielded mounting and M12 plug connections make installation straightforward, while the active head material of PBT and a tightening torque of 10Nm ensure secure placement.
These sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, they measure M12 x 1 with a length of 64.8mm and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67.
