The Datasensing AM1/AP-4A2Q Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/PNP output type and are equipped with a 2-meter axial cable. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V and Ta=23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The unshielded mounting design is complemented by a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head material, ensuring durability. The sensors come with 2 nuts M12x1 for easy installation and have a tightening torque of 10Nm. They are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. Designed to withstand shocks and vibrations, they comply with Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 and Shock IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
