The Datasensing AM1/CN-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and provide reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz.
Built with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, offering an IP67 degree of protection. They are shielded for easy mounting and come with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc and have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA.
The AM1/CN-3H models are available with cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, and can be customized with 2 or 3 wire configurations. ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request for environments requiring explosion protection. With a compact design measuring M12 x 1 / L= 64.8mm and weighing just 30g, these sensors are easy to integrate into existing systems. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards for safety and performance.
