The Datasensing AM1/CN-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C.
The AM1/CN-4A model is equipped with an NPN output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, supporting a switching frequency of 2kHz. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and the sensor is protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensor is designed for durability and reliability. It features an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor is also equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and comes with 2 nuts M12x1 for easy mounting. With a compact size of M12 x 1 and a length of 49.8mm, the sensor is lightweight at 70g and can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
The Datasensing AM1/CN-4A Sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and offer excellent EMC compatibility as per IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, respectively.
