Datasensing AM1/CN-4H Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/CN-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NC/NPN connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, making them ideal for a variety of applications. The sensors are equipped with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and boast a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The AM1/CN-4H models are available with 2 or 3 wire configurations and offer a wide range of outputs, including cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits. They are also available in ATEX models, category 3, upon request. The sensors feature a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. Designed with safety in mind, they include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed from durable nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. They come with supplied accessories, including two M12x1 nuts, and are designed for easy installation with a tightening torque of 10Nm. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 EMC standards, ensuring minimal interference in industrial settings.
