Datasensing AM1/CP-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/CP-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM1/CP-3A Sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and an NC output function, with a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors have a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Designed for durability, these sensors feature a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT. They are shielded for mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable for connections. The sensors are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. They also include yellow LED indicators for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. With an IP67 degree of protection, these sensors are resistant to shocks and vibrations, complying with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. They are CE and UR approved, ensuring high reliability and safety. The sensors are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
