The Datasensing AM6/AP-3A84 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, making them ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. With a correction factor for various materials such as copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05), these sensors ensure accurate detection across different environments. Engineered with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, the AM6/AP-3A84 Sensors provide consistent performance. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and the sensors operate with a switching frequency of 2kHz, suitable for high-speed applications. They support an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, ensuring efficient power usage. These sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they feature robust protection mechanisms including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and they are designed for flush mounting with a tightening torque of 10Nm. The AM6/AP-3A84 Sensors come with a 3m PVC cable for easy installation and are approved with CE and UR certifications. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and can withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments, operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
