The Datasensing AT1/AP-3A8R Inductive Sensor is a robust and reliable solution for proximity detection needs. Designed with an M30 shielded housing, this sensor features a Normally Open (NO) PNP output and comes with a 10-meter axial PVC cable for flexible installation. It offers a nominal sensing distance of 15mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 12.1mm. The sensor is optimized for standard targets of 45x45mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.35), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.50), and stainless steel (0.70). Engineered for precision, it maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 200Hz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, it supports a load current of up to 400mA while keeping the no-load supply current at a maximum of 20mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and features comprehensive protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, the sensor is designed for durability and reliability, withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. It is IP67 rated for mechanical protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensor is supplied with two M30x1.5 nuts for secure mounting and complies with CE and UR approvals, as well as EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. It is also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
