The Datasensing BX80S/10-1A86 Sensors are designed for high-performance area sensing applications. Featuring a robust aluminium enclosure, these sensors offer a controlled height of 70 mm and an operating distance of up to 2 meters. The microprocessor-based circuit ensures precise sensitivity adjustment, making it suitable for various industrial environments. With a strong cubic housing and a special metallic enclosure, this sensor is built for high-duty use, providing complete protection against electrical damages with an IP67 protection degree.
The sensor operates on a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, with a no-load supply current of 100mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. It includes LED indicators for power status, short-circuit protection with auto reset, and reverse polarity protection. The infrared emission at 880nm ensures reliable performance, even under external light interference of up to 1,500 lux from incandescent lamps and 4,500 lux from sunlight.
The BX80S/10-1A86 is equipped with a 5-meter PVC cable for easy connectivity and features a PBT housing material with a PC active head. It is designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +50°C and storage temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. The sensor is CE cULus approved and complies with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, ensuring reliable operation in environments subject to shocks and vibrations. Supplied accessories include two M18x1 nuts, an adjustment key, and a 90° angled bracket for versatile installation options.
