The Datasensing BX80S/30-1H Sensors are designed for high-performance area sensing applications. Featuring a robust aluminium enclosure, these sensors are built to withstand demanding environments with a protection degree of IP67, ensuring complete protection against electrical damages. The sensor operates with a controlled height of 70 mm and an operating distance of up to 2 meters, making it ideal for precise detection tasks. Equipped with a microprocessor-based circuit, the BX80S/30-1H offers sensitivity adjustment for optimal performance. It emits infrared light at 880nm and is resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 1,500 lux from incandescent lamps and 4,500 lux from sunlight. The sensor's strong cubic housing and metallic enclosure make it suitable for high-duty use, while its compact dimensions of 60mm x 132mm x 30mm and weight of 260-300g ensure easy integration into various systems. The sensor operates on a voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC, with a no-load supply current of 100mA and a maximum ripple content of 10%. It features LED indicators for power status, short-circuit protection with auto reset, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection. The BX80S/30-1H is compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards for EMC and mechanical protection, and it comes with supplied accessories including two M18x1 nuts, an adjustment key, and a 90° angled bracket for easy installation. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +50°C and storage temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, this sensor is built to perform reliably in a variety of conditions.
