The Datasensing C18P/BP-2A Sensors are high-performance capacitive sensors designed for precise detection in various industrial applications. Featuring a robust M18 plastic unshielded housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 3 to 12mm with a thermal drift of less than 20%. They are equipped with both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) output functions, providing versatile integration options. The sensors operate on a DC voltage range of 10 to 40V, with a low no-load supply current of ? 12mA and a load current capacity of up to 200mA.
With adjustable sensitivity and high noise immunity, these sensors ensure reliable performance even in challenging environments. The yellow LED indicator provides clear object detection feedback, while the short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protections enhance operational safety. The sensors are designed to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -35°C to +85°C and are protected against dust and water ingress with IP67 and IP68 ratings.
