The Datasensing C18P/BP-2E Sensors are high-performance capacitive sensors designed for versatile applications. Featuring an M18 plastic unshielded housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 3 to 12mm with a thermal drift of less than 20%. They are equipped with PNP NO+NC output functions and support a switching frequency of 50Hz. The sensors operate on a DC supply voltage range of 10 to 40V, ensuring high noise immunity and reliable performance in various environments.
With adjustable sensitivity, these sensors can be fine-tuned to meet specific application needs. They are built with a robust polyester housing and active head material, providing durability and resistance to harsh conditions. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for object detection and offer short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection.
The C18P/BP-2E Sensors are designed for easy installation with an M12 plug connection and come with supplied accessories, including a screwdriver and two M18 nuts. They are compliant with CE and cULus approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. With an IP67 and IP68 degree of protection, these sensors are suitable for use in demanding environments, offering reliable performance across a wide operating temperature range of -35°C to +85°C.
