Datasensing CT1/AP-1A Sensors

The Datasensing CT1/AP-1A Sensors are high-performance capacitive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a robust metal housing with IP65 protection, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments and provide complete protection against electrical damages. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a trimmer, allowing for precise detection within a nominal sensing distance of 2 to 15mm. Equipped with an axial cable exit or M12 plug cable exit, the CT1/AP-1A offers flexibility in installation. The sensor operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 8mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It features a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, and a switching frequency of 100Hz, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The sensor is designed with user-friendly LED indicators, including a green LED for power and a red LED for object detection. It also includes advanced protection features such as short-circuit protection with autoreset, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the CT1/AP-1A is durable and reliable. It is approved by CE and cULus, and complies with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. The sensor is also resistant to shocks and vibrations, adhering to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With a compact design of M30 diameter and 87mm length, and a weight of 260g, the sensor is easy to mount using the supplied screwdriver and M30 nuts. It operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, ensuring consistent performance in various conditions.
