The Datasensing DM2/0N-1HAN Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. With a nominal sensing distance of 100mm, these sensors operate on the principle of diffuse reflection, making them ideal for short-distance applications up to 200mm. The sensors feature an NPN output type with selectable light/dark operation, ensuring flexibility in various environments.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PMMA, the sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, offering IP67 mechanical protection. They are equipped with LED infrared emission at 880nm and are resistant to external light interference, handling up to 3,000 lux from incandescent lamps and 10,000 lux from sunlight.
The DM2/0N-1HAN Sensors boast a high switching frequency of 400Hz and a rapid response time of 1.25ms, ensuring quick and accurate performance. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?30mA and a load current of ?100mA. Safety features include short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection.
These sensors are approved for use in hazardous environments, meeting CE cULus Ex standards, and are compatible with EMC standard EN 60947-5-2. They come with M12 plug connections and are supplied with M12 x 1 nuts for easy installation. With a compact dimension of M12x1/L=65.5mm, they are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, operating efficiently in temperatures from -25°C to +70°C.
