The Datasensing FAI8/BN-2E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a 90° diffuse reflection principle, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 800mm, making them ideal for long-distance applications. The sensors are equipped with an NPN NO+NC output type, providing both normally open and normally closed functions for versatile integration into various systems.
Constructed with a robust PBT/PC housing and an M12 plastic connector, the FAI8/BN-2E sensors ensure durability and ease of installation. The radial optic position and sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer allow for fine-tuning to suit specific operational needs. With a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, these sensors deliver quick and accurate performance.
The FAI8/BN-2E sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, featuring IP67 protection against dust and water ingress, as well as short-circuit, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. They operate efficiently within a wide voltage range of 10
30VDC and are compatible with a variety of industrial applications.
Additional features include LED indicators for output status, a low no-load supply current of ?30mA, and a maximum load current of ?100mA. The sensors are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. Approved by CE and cULus, these sensors meet stringent safety and performance standards, ensuring reliable operation in demanding conditions.
