The Datasensing FAI8/BP-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for your sensing needs, featuring a complete range of M18 sensors powered by a 10...30 Vdc supply. Designed with both axial and radial optics on a flat surface, these sensors are ideal for detecting transparent objects with their retro-reflective models and red emission. Built to withstand harsh environments, they boast an IP67 protection degree and are housed in either metallic or plastic materials for added durability.
Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring precise detection with a nominal sensing distance of 1 meter and a thermal drift of Sr ?10% Sr. The sensors operate on a diffuse reflection principle, suitable for long-distance detection over 600mm, and are optimized for a white target Kodak 90% 400 x 400mm. With a PNP NO+NC output type and a switching frequency of 250Hz, these sensors provide reliable performance with a response time of just 2ms.
Engineered for efficiency, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a load current of ?100mA, with a minimal output voltage drop of ?2V@Iload=100mA. They are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring and feature comprehensive protection against short circuits, overvoltage, and reverse polarity. The sensors are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
Compact and lightweight, the sensors measure M18 x 1 /L =81,6mm and weigh just 30g. They are constructed with a PBT/PC plug housing and a PC active head material, ensuring robustness and reliability. The sensors come with supplied accessories, including M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver, and are approved by CE and cULus, meeting EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2. Withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards, these sensors are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing, making them a versatile choice for various industrial applications.
