The Datasensing FAR3/BN-2E Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring a photoelectric sensor with a 90° diffuse reflection capability and a nominal sensing distance of 100mm. These sensors operate on a 10...30 Vdc power supply and are equipped with both axial and radial optics on a flat surface. They are ideal for detecting transparent objects with their retro-reflective models and red emission, all while maintaining an IP67 protection degree.
Constructed with either metallic or plastic housing, these sensors offer sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring adaptability to various applications. The output type is NPN NO+NC, providing both normally open and normally closed functions. With a switching frequency of 250Hz and a response time of just 2ms, these sensors are built for efficiency.
The FAR3/BN-2E Sensors are protected against electric damages, featuring short-circuit protection with autoreset, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. They are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
With a compact M18 x 1/L=92.7mm dimension and a lightweight design of 30g, these sensors are easy to install using the M12 plug connection. They operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, ensuring performance in various environments.
