The Datasensing FAR3/BP-0A Sensors offer a comprehensive range of M18 sensors designed for optimal performance with a 10...30 Vdc power supply. These sensors feature both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them ideal for various applications. The retro-reflective models are specifically designed for detecting transparent objects, utilizing a red emission and boasting an IP67 protection degree for enhanced durability. Available in both metallic and plastic housings, these sensors provide flexibility and robustness in different environments.
Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring precise detection capabilities. The sensors operate on the principle of diffuse reflection, suitable for short distances up to 200mm, with a nominal sensing distance of 100mm. They are equipped with PNP NO+NC output types, offering both normally open and normally closed functions. With a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, these sensors are designed for fast and reliable operation.
The sensors are protected against various electrical damages, including short-circuit (autoreset), overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. They are also resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
