The Datasensing FARS/BP-0E Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for precise object detection with their M18 design and versatile features. These sensors operate on a 10...30 Vdc power supply and are equipped with both axial and radial optics featuring a flat surface. They are particularly effective for detecting transparent objects, thanks to their retro-reflective models with red emission. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, whether housed in metallic or plastic casings.
The FARS/BP-0E Sensors provide a nominal sensing distance of 130mm, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. Sensitivity can be finely tuned using the trimmer adjustment, and the sensors are designed with a minimum sensing distance (blind zone) of 30mm. They employ a background suppression function principle, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging conditions.
These sensors feature an axial optic position and offer a PNP NO+NC output type, with a switching frequency of 1Khz and a rapid response time of 500µs. They are engineered to handle a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current of ?100mA, with a leakage current of ?10?A and an output voltage drop of ?2V@Iload=100mA. The sensors are protected against short circuits, overvoltage, and reverse polarity, ensuring durability and reliability.
The FARS/BP-0E Sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring and are designed to resist interference from external light sources up to 5000lux (incandescent lamp) and 10000lux (sunlight). They are constructed with a PBT/PC plug housing and a PMMA active head material, offering a tightening torque of 1Nm.
