The Datasensing IL8/AP-1A Sensors are compact, cubic inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The IL8 series features a top detection head, housed in a robust 8x8x40mm AISI303 stainless steel casing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. The sensors operate on a PNP-NO output type with a switching frequency of up to 5kHz, making them suitable for high-speed applications. They are equipped with a 2m axial PUR cable for easy installation and connectivity.
The IL8/AP-1A sensors offer excellent protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with a high degree of mechanical protection rated at IP67. The sensors are designed to withstand operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial settings. The blue LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are CE and cULus approved, meeting EMC compatibility standards of IEC 60947-5-2. With a weight of just 35g, these sensors are lightweight yet robust, making them a versatile choice for proximity sensing applications.
