The Datasensing MS2/00-0E Sensors offer a versatile range of models designed to meet diverse detection needs, including diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized, through-beam detection, and background suppression. These sensors are equipped with through-beam models that boast a high sensing range, while retro-reflective models feature red visible polarized light for enhanced accuracy. The right angle optic (MP) models and background suppression models with fixed distance provide additional flexibility for various applications. All through-beam models come with a check function to ensure optimal performance. Engineered for reliability, these sensors provide complete protection against electrical damage, including short-circuit protection with auto-reset and overvoltage protection. The nominal sensing distance is 100mm, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensors operate on a diffuse reflection principle for short distances up to 200mm, with an axial optic position and selectable NO/NC output functions. They feature a switching frequency of 80Hz and a response time of 6.25ms, operating within a voltage range of 10…30VDC. The sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with a degree of protection rated at IP67 and EMC compatibility per EN 60947-5-2 standards. They are resistant to shocks and vibrations, conforming to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. The housing is made from durable PBT/PC material, with an active head of PMMA, and they are supplied with M18 x 1 nuts for easy installation. The sensors are compact, with dimensions of M18 x 1 /L =93mm, and lightweight at 30g, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
