The Datasensing MS6/00-0K Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a diffuse reflection function with a nominal sensing distance of 400mm, these sensors are ideal for medium-distance applications. The sensors are equipped with a robust M12 90° plastic connector and offer a wide range of models, including diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized, through-beam detection, and background suppression.
The through-beam models boast a high sensing range, while the retro-reflective models utilize red visible polarized light for enhanced accuracy. The right-angle optic models (MP) and background suppression models with fixed distance provide versatile solutions for various industrial needs. All through-beam models include a check function for added reliability.
Engineered for durability, the sensors offer complete protection against electrical damage, including short-circuit protection with auto-reset and overvoltage protection. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ? 40mA and a load current of ?100mA. The sensors feature a selectable NO/NC output function, with a switching frequency of 80Hz and a response time of 6.25ms.
Constructed with a PBT/PC plug housing and PMMA active head material, the sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with an IP67 degree of protection and compliance with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2. They are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing.
The sensors are equipped with red LED indicators for status output and are protected against impulsive overvoltage. They are designed to minimize interference from external light sources, with a tolerance of up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. Supplied with M18 x 1 nuts, these sensors are easy to install and maintain, making them a reliable choice for industrial automation applications.
