The Datasensing MSE/00-0E Sensors are versatile photoelectric sensors designed for a wide range of applications. These sensors offer various detection models, including diffuse, retro-reflective, polarized, through-beam detection, and background suppression, catering to diverse sensing needs. The through-beam models boast a high sensing range, while the retro-reflective models feature red visible polarized light for enhanced accuracy. For applications requiring specific angles, models with right angle optics (MP) are available. The background suppression models come with a fixed distance setting, ensuring precise detection. All through-beam models include a check function for added reliability, and the sensors are equipped with complete protection against electrical damage. With a nominal sensing distance of 16m (MSR) and 32m (MSD), these sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The emitter function principle, axial optic position, and LED infrared emission (880nm) ensure efficient performance. Operating within a voltage range of 10…30VDC, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a maximum ripple content of ?10%. The sensors feature red LED indicators for power status and a time delay before availability of ?200ms. They are equipped with short-circuit protection (autoreset) and overvoltage protection, making them robust against electrical disturbances. The sensors can withstand interference from external light up to 3000lux (incandescent lamp) and 10000lux (sunlight). With dimensions of M18 x 1 /L =93mm and a weight of 30g, the sensors are compact and lightweight. The housing is made of durable PBT / PC plug material, and the active head is constructed from PMMA. The sensors are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing, and they offer mechanical protection with an IP67 rating. They are approved by CE cURus and comply with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2, ensuring reliability in various industrial environments.
