The Datasensing PK3/00-1A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 shielded design with a 5m axial cable, these sensors offer both NPN and PNP output types with NO/NC output functions. They are engineered for a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 4.05mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are compatible with standard targets of 18x18mm FE360 and have a correction factor for different materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.48), brass (0.72), and stainless steel (0.86).
With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors ensure consistent performance. They operate at a switching frequency of 300Hz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, the sensors are robust and durable, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. They are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and are approved with CE and EMC compatibility. The package includes two M18x1 nuts for easy installation, and the sensors can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
