The Datasensing Red Laser Emission Background Suppressor is a versatile and high-performance sensor designed for precise object detection and background suppression. Featuring a bright red laser emission, this model offers multiple background suppression functions, making it ideal for detecting shiny and clear objects. It supports diffuse proximity sensing up to 100 cm and background suppression up to 800 mm with the LED trimmer version. The sensor also boasts polarized RRX capabilities with a range of 7 m for red LED emission and 12 m for red laser emission, as well as through-beam detection up to 30 m.
Equipped with a rugged IP67 plastic miniature case, the sensor is built to withstand harsh environments. It features M3 threaded holes with metal inserts for secure mounting and offers state-of-the-art IO-Link connectivity with extended Smart Tasks. The sensor's nominal sensing distance is 600 mm, with a sensitivity adjustment via a 1-turn trimmer. It operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC and includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection.
The sensor's output type is NPN L/D selectable, with a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz and a response time of 333 µs.
