The Datasensing SH2/E-3EIC Sensors are designed for optimal safety and reliability in industrial environments. These Type 2 safety photocell emitters feature a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters with a radial optic, ensuring precise detection. Constructed with a robust metal housing and an M18 design, they are equipped with a 90° M12 connection for seamless integration into existing systems. The sensors operate at a frequency of 123 kHz and are compliant with IEC61131-2 standards, making them adaptable with any safety module. These sensors are ideal for use in safety systems that require EN ISO 13849 compliance, when paired with a Category 2 or Category 4 safety control unit. They are not compatible with the SBCR03 control unit and should be used with an external safety control unit featuring an automatic optics test function. The sensors boast a thermal drift of Sr ? 10%, a single-beam resolution, and an effective aperture angle of ? ±5°, with a typical angle of ±1.8°. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp. They feature yellow LED indicators for power status and red emission indicators, with test levels indicating emission activity. The durable PBT housing and glass active head material ensure longevity, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and a storage temperature range of -40°C to +75°C.
