The Datasensing SH4-14-0300-SM-8 is a Type 4 safety light curtain designed for optimal finger protection with a resolution of 14 mm and a controlled height of 300 mm. It features an improved operating range of up to 10 meters and offers both manual and automatic restart functions. The device is equipped with standard muting functions, including 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, override, and EDM. Configuration is simplified with DIP-SW, and the unit supports an extended monitored height up to 2250 mm. Its compact profile (35 x 40 mm) is consistent across the SH4 line, and installation is facilitated by LED indications of beam intensity. The SH4-14-0300-SM-8 is IP67 rated, ensuring robust protection against dust and water, and operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -30 to +55 °C. The product includes a complete couple and angular bracket, anti-interference codes, and is cascadable with SH4 CASCADE up to three units. It features pigtails with M12 connectors and standard non-shielded cables, with integrated LED muting indication. The device is constructed from durable materials such as painted aluminum, MAKROLON AR 7099 Clear PC, and PBT, and is approved by CE, cULus, TÜV, and UKCA.
