The Datasensing SH4/E-2EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensors designed for high-performance applications. These Type 4 safety photocell emitters feature a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters and are equipped with a single-beam resolution for precise detection. The sensors operate within a thermal drift of Sr ? 10% and have an effective aperture angle of ? ±2.5°, typically ±1.8°.
Constructed with a durable PBT plastic housing and a glass active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering an IP67 degree of protection. They are compliant with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4 standards, ensuring reliable safety performance. The sensors are designed to be used with an external safety control unit that includes an automatic optics test function, as they are not compatible with the SBCR03 control unit.
Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp. They feature yellow LED indicators for power status and red emission indicators, with test levels set at <5V for emission inactive and >15V for emission active.
The SH4/E-2EIC Sensors are approved by CE and TÜV, and they are capable of withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC600068-2-29 and 60068-2-6 standards. They are supplied with two nuts for easy installation and are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to +55°C, with a storage temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. The sensors maintain functionality in humidity levels between 15% and 95%, making them versatile for various industrial applications.
