Datasensing ST 103 Sensors

The Datasensing ST 103 Sensors are designed for precise and reliable detection in various industrial applications. Featuring a slim profile with a low resolution of 18 mm, these sensors utilize a light array for effective detection. The product operates on the emitter-receiver principle, with a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.3 to 3 meters and a controlled height of 100 mm. It can detect flat objects as small as 0.2x200 mm and cylindrical objects with a diameter of 18 mm. Equipped with six rays and an adjustment trimmer, the ST 103 offers optical or wire synchronism and a scan mode input for enhanced performance. The sensors operate in dark mode with a PNP output type and a dark ON output function, ensuring efficient operation with a response time of just 1.7 ms. The ST 103 is powered by an operating voltage of 20.4 to 27.6 VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?190 mA and a load current of ?100 mA. The output voltage drop is ?1.5 V at a load current of 100 mA. The sensors feature LED indicators, with a yellow light indicating the output state and a green light for Power ON status.
