The Datasensing STC 80 Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring a compact cubic 50x50 mm design with a robust ABS/PMMA housing. These photoelectric sensors utilize a red laser emission with trimmer adjustment for proximity detection, offering a nominal sensing distance of 900mm. The sensors support both NPN and PNP output configurations with NO+NC functions, ensuring versatile application compatibility. With a response time of just 0.2 seconds and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC, these sensors are efficient and quick to respond. They are equipped with short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring durability and safety in various environments. The sensors are capable of handling a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a load current of ?100mA, with an output voltage drop of ?2V at a load of 100mA. The STC 80 Sensors are designed to withstand external light interference according to EN 60947-5-2: 2020 standards and offer excellent insulation resistance of over 20 M? at 500 Vdc. They are built to endure shocks and vibrations with a mechanical protection rating of IP67, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications.
