Description
The Leuze DDLS 200/200.2-20 is an optical data transmission unit (receiver/transmitter frequency F2) designed for contact-free transmission of industrial fieldbus protocols and RS interfaces up to 2 Mbit/s over distances up to 200 m using infrared light at 880 nm wavelength. It features a narrow opening angle of ±1°, IP65 aluminum die-cast housing (approx. 1200 g), 18–30 V DC supply (200 mA typical without heating), low sensitivity to ambient light via FSK modulation, and compatibility with PROFIBUS DP, Interbus, RS422/RS485, and others. Suitable for automated high-bay warehouses and harsh environments, it supports fine optical axis alignment (360° rotation) and includes LED indicators for status, data traffic, and receive level bar graph; pair with DDLS 200/200.1-20 for complete bidirectional link.
