The Dynapar 117086-0002 is a precision-engineered shaft insert designed for HSD38 Series harsh-duty hollow-shaft incremental encoders, enabling compatibility with solid shafts up to 3/8" (9.525 mm) diameter via a flexible hub-shaft coupling mechanism. It facilitates direct shaft mounting with minimal runout (0.010" max TIR) and endplay (±0.025" max), supporting encoder resolutions up to 5000 PPR, shaft speeds to 6000 RPM, and extreme environments including IP67 sealing, 50G shock, and 20G vibration.
