The Dynapar G0541320 (AC36/1212AR.41SBA) is a multi-turn absolute optical encoder from the AC36 series, providing 12-bit single-turn and 12-bit multi-turn resolution for true absolute positioning up to 22 bits total. It features BiSS or SSI serial interfaces, operates on 5 VDC (-5%/+10%) or 7-30 VDC input power with 100 mA (single-turn) or 150 mA (multi-turn) current draw, and delivers ±35" absolute accuracy with ±7" repeatability. The compact 38.1 mm diameter aluminum housing supports an 8 mm hubshaft with spring tether mounting (legs backwards, IP50), stainless steel shaft and housing, maximum continuous speed of 10,000 rpm, -40 to +100°C operating temperature, IP64 enclosure (housing)/IP50 (shaft), and meets EN 61326-1 noise and electrical immunity standards; suitable for high-precision motion control in harsh industrial environments.
