The Dynapar AD36/0017AU.0CSBB (G0545440) is a compact 38.1 mm diameter absolute optical encoder featuring an 8 mm continuous hollow shaft with spring tether mounting, designed for compatibility with size 15 resolvers. It provides 17-bit single-turn and 12-bit multi-turn resolution in Gray code via SSI Binary interface with clock and data/RS422 drivers, optional Sine-Cosine 1 Vpp incremental signals (2048 pulses, 500 kHz bandwidth), and absolute accuracy of ±35" with ±7" repeatability. Electrical specifications include 5 VDC ±5%/+10% or 7-30 VDC input (typ. 100 mA), IP40 protection, -40°C to +120°C operating temperature, 100 m/s² vibration and 1000 m/s² shock resistance per EN 60068 standards, and max 10,000 rpm continuous speed.
