The Dynapar 116845-0001 is a stainless steel cast shaft clamp assembly designed for secure, electrically isolated mounting of hollow-shaft encoders onto motor or machine shafts. It features a robust clamping mechanism compatible with shaft diameters from 6mm to 28mm (1/4" to 1-1/8"), requiring a minimum mating shaft length of 1.25" (recommended 1.60") and supporting maximum shaft speeds of 6000 RPM. Constructed with 6061-T6 aluminum shaft material, powder-coated aluminum housing, and ABEC 1 bearings, it ensures low starting torque (8.0 in-oz max) and withstands harsh conditions including -40°C to +85°C operation, 400g shock, and 20g vibration, ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications like steel mills, off-highway vehicles, and high-vibration machinery.
