The Dynapar DS616-AS50 is a single- and multi-turn absolute optical encoder from the Hengstler AD25 series, featuring 13 or 22-bit single-turn resolution and 12-bit multi-turn resolution with ±0.01° mechanical absolute accuracy and ±0.002° repeatability. It supports BiSS or SSI interfaces over RS422 with transmission speeds up to 10 MHz (BiSS) or 2 MHz (SSI), operates on 5 VDC (±10%/+5%), and includes integrated diagnostics for LED current sensing, single-step checks, and temperature monitoring.
