The Dynapar G0578392 (RI58-F/2500AF.42KB) is an incremental optical rotary encoder from the Hengstler RI58 series, featuring 2500 pulses per revolution (PPR) with high signal accuracy and squarewave outputs. It supports a 58 mm industry-standard mounting with flange options, shaft sizes of 6 mm or 10 mm, and supply voltages of 5-30 VDC, delivering RS422 differential line driver outputs capable of 100-300 kHz frequency response. Designed for rugged industrial use, it offers IP54 to IP67 protection (with shaft seal), operates from -40°C to +100°C (RI58-T variant), withstands 50-1000 m/s² shock and 100 m/s² vibration, and suits applications like CNC machines, motors/drives, packaging, and injection molding with max shaft speeds up to 10,000 RPM (?1024 PPR) or 5,000 RPM (>1024 PPR).
