Description
The Dynapar G0557397 is a compact hollowshaft incremental optical encoder designed for high-resolution position and speed feedback in industrial applications. It supports resolutions up to 5000 PPR with options for 500, 512, 1000, 1024, 2000, 2048, 2500, 4096, or 5000 PPR, powered by 5 VDC ±10% at 150-175 mA max, and offers output signals including line driver (40 mA sink/source) or open collector configurations. Mechanical features include a 1.96" outer diameter, brass hub diameters from 1/4" to 6 mm, spring tether mounting with ±15° misalignment tolerance, 100G shock resistance, 2.5G vibration (5-2000 Hz), and operation from -40°C to +120°C in an IP40/NEMA 1 enclosure.
