The Dynapar G0524233 (RI58-O/5000AS.71TH) is an incremental optical rotary encoder from the RI58-O series, delivering 5000 pulses per revolution (PPR) with high signal accuracy via 3-channel RS422 output including alarm. It features a 58 mm housing with 6 mm diameter through hollow shaft (10 mm length), synchro flange mounting, radial cable with connector termination, IP65 protection, and operation from -10°C to +70°C at 4.5-5.5 VDC supply. Suitable for demanding applications such as machine tools, CNC axes, packaging machinery, motors/drives, injection molding, sawing, and textile machines, it withstands high shock loads up to 1000 m/s² (6 ms) with shaft speeds to 10,000 rpm.
