The Leuze BCL 208i R1M 110 is a stationary 1D bar code reader from the BCL 200i series, designed for reliable detection of common codes including Code 128, 2/5 Interleaved, EAN 128, Code 39, and others in picket-fence orientation. It features a red laser light source (655 nm, Class 1 per IEC/EN 60825-1:2014), line scanning via rotating polygon mirror with lateral beam exit using a deflecting mirror, a typical scanning rate of 1,000 scans/s, reading distance of 40–255 mm, and modulus size of 0.2–0.5 mm, enhanced by code reconstruction technology (CRT) for damaged or low-height codes and large tilt angles. The compact diecast aluminum housing (93 × 38 × 83 mm, IP65) operates on 18–30 V DC (max 4 W), includes Ethernet TCP/IP interface with web-based configuration, one digital input/output, M12 connectors (5-pin A-coded PWR/IO, 4-pin D-coded HOST), functions like AutoReflAct for reflector-based activation without extra sensors, and approvals including c UL US, CE, with EMC/shock/vibration testing per EN/IEC standards.
