The ABB Baldor-Reliance SP4 Severe Duty line is a cast iron, totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motor family designed to survive process, water and wastewater, mining, and heavy industrial environments where a general purpose steel-frame motor would not last. Every unit in this category carries a one-piece cast iron frame, IP55 ingress protection, an internal shaft grounding brush, and SP4 Super Premium efficiency that reaches NEMA Super Premium (IEC IE4), above NEMA Premium.
