The SMC 10-KQN10-99 is a clean room specification metric-size one-touch fitting from the KQN series, configured as a nipple (straight tube-to-tube connector), sold in a pack of 5. Part number decoded: KQN = one-touch nipple, 10 = 10mm tube OD, 99 = nipple configuration code. The KQN nipple provides the simplest possible tube-to-tube connection a straight inline joint connecting two tube ends of the same diameter.
The KQN nipple is more compact than the KQ2U union for inline tube connections, making it preferred in space-critical clean room installations where fitting length must be minimized. The 10mm tube OD is a mid-range metric size used for standard actuator connections, valve manifold feeds, and general-purpose pneumatic distribution in clean room equipment. Push-in connection on both ends enables tool-free assembly: insert the tube, hear a click, and the connection is secure. Press the release ring and pull to disconnect.
Sold in a pack of 5 for equipment builds and maintenance stock. For the same inline connection with a longer body (providing more tube separation), the KQ2U union is available. For 90-degree direction change at 10mm, the KQ2L10 union elbow routes tubes around corners. For other tube sizes, KQN series nipples cover 4mm through 16mm metric OD.
