This is the highest capacity LEFG slider actuator, providing maximum payload handling and moment resistance.
The 40mm width provides the widest bearing separation in the LEFG range, delivering the highest moment load capacity for heavy end-effectors, multi-tool fixtures, and applications with significant offset forces. The 400mm stroke enables long-reach operations spanning nearly half a meter with full multi-point programmable positioning, variable speed, and controlled acceleration throughout the travel. Applications include clean room inter-station transfer of heavy assemblies, long-range inspection scanning of large substrates, and programmable material handling between widely spaced process stations.
The LEFG40-S-400 is the flagship LEFG slider when the LEFG32 and LEFG16 are undersized for the application payload or stroke requirement, this is the maximum LEFG option. For even higher force or precision beyond the LEFG40 capability, the LEFS ball screw series provides enhanced thrust force with ball screw mechanical advantage.
