The SMC 11-LEFS40B-700B is a clean room specification electric actuator from the LEFS series with B-type motor and 700mm stroke at the maximum 40mm width. This is one of the longest-stroke LEFS40 B-motor configurations available.
The 700mm stroke at 40mm width provides near-maximum reach in the LEFS platform while maintaining the highest payload capacity. At this stroke length, the ball screw's critical speed must be verified against the application's required traverse speed to ensure the screw does not exceed its safe operating RPM. The B specification provides brake capability for vertical or inclined installations where gravity-driven slider movement must be prevented during power interruptions or emergency stops.
The LEFS40B-700B is near the top of the LEFS40 stroke range. For the longest LEFS40 A-type option, the LEFS40A-650B provides 650mm with step motor servo. For shorter strokes with B-motor and brake, the LEFS40B-600B provides 600mm. For the absolute longest LEFS strokes across all widths, the LEFS32A-800 extends to 800mm at 32mm width.
