The SMC 25A-AMD550C-06 is a secondary battery compatible micro mist separator from the AMD series in 550C body size. Part number decoded: AMD = AMD micro mist separator, 550C = body size 550C, 06 = 3/4" port. The 25A- prefix designates secondary battery manufacturing compatibility.

The AMD series provides finer micro mist filtration than the AM mist separator, removing sub-micron oil particles from the compressed air. Body size 550C provides high element capacity for extended service life. The 3/4" port handles substantial flow while maintaining fine filtration. The AMD is typically installed downstream of the AM mist separator in the filtration cascade, providing the finest level of oil mist removal before the air enters process equipment.
