The SMC 25A-CDQ2A40-75DMZ is the economy base unit of the secondary battery compatible CQ2 at 40mm bore and 75mm stroke with DM modification. Part number decoded: CDQ2 = CQ2 double acting, A = A-type, 40 = 40mm bore, 75 = 75mm stroke, DM = modification, Z = auto-switch groove. Supplied without auto-switch switches can be field-added to the Z groove.
At approximately 75N through 75mm with DM modification and no internal cushion, this provides the fastest possible cycle time at this bore and stroke. Without end-cushion deceleration, the piston reaches the cap at full speed, maximizing throughput on high-speed secondary battery lines where external bumper stops handle impact absorption. The base unit is the lowest-cost entry to the 40mm bore 75mm CQ2 platform.
Applied on electrode slitting station scrap chute diverters, cell carrier pallet lift actuators, tab alignment slide mechanisms, and cathode drying oven tray pushers. Choose the base DM unit when budget is constrained, external cushioning is present, or maximum uncushioned piston speed is needed for cycle time. For auto-switch sensing, the CDQ2A40-75DMZ-M9NL adds M9NL NPN detection. For DCM cushioned operation, the CDQ2A40-75DCMZ-M9NL adds end-cushion and switch. RoHS compliant.
